Brian Ham and Peter Anson are trying to organise a tour, not limited to Sonex aircraft. Nominal starting point would be Goolwa in SA. From there we would fly along the SA and Victorian coast, up the NSW coast far enough for a reasonably easy passage inland and return inland. Participants could join anywhere along the loop. The intention would be to take 3 or 4 days so as to avoid long flying hours and small bladders. The whole loop would be about 1500 NM. Nothing has been finalised as of yet, just talking about it and want to see if anyone is interested in joining in. Proposed time is late September to mid October. At this stage we are just trying to see if there is any interest.
I personally am going to be a bit of social butterfly during September and October with the William Creek Flyin plus going over for the MotoGP in late October. However I am sure that a few of us from Gawler would welcome the excuse to go for a fly to Goolwa if only just to say helo. Contact Peter if you are interested in joining in.
