Brian Ham and Peter Anson are trying to organize a tour, not limited to Sonex aircraft. Nominal starting point would be Goolwa in SA. From there we would fly along the SA and Victorian coast, up the NSW coast far enough for a reasonably easy passage inland and return inland. Participants could join anywhere along the loop. The intention would be to take 3 or 4 days so as to avoid long flying hours and small bladders. The whole loop would be about 1500 NM. Nothing has been finalised as of yet, just talking about it and want to see if anyone is interested in joining in. Proposed time is late September to mid October. At this stage we are just trying to see if there is any interest.

Being the social butterfly that I am, fitting in the whole tour will probably be a stretch for me personally but I am certainly interested in catching up for part of the way. There will likely be a few interested people from the Adelaide Soaring Club who may be interested in just flying in to Goolwa to just for the catch up session and an excuse to take their aircraft out for some exercise.
